Dear Members and Friends

We are pleased to announce that Namaste Philippines Mabuhay India [NPMI] committee is undertaking a fund raising drive thru the sale of Raffle tickets. Proceeds of the Raffle will be used for carrying out the activities and charity projects planned in celebration of the 60 Years of Diplomatic Relations between India and the Philippines.

The Raffle will have 60 prizes at stake with a Nano car as the First Prize. The others prizes are Air Ticket to India, Motorcycle, Laptop, computer, Blackberry and cell phones, I pods, digital cameras, Home safes, and other sponsored or special prizes. Raffle Tickets are available at P1,000.00 each. For this amount, you not only contribute to the fund raising activity and support of the projects, you also get to win a prize.

We therefore request each one (members and non members alike), to support the cause thru the purchase of raffle tickets. Companies are urged to get 10 – 20 tickets each and individuals at least two tickets. Companies who have a network of generous suppliers, bankers, neighbors, business associates, and friends are enjoined to help sell the tickets to others as well. This will expand the reach of our fund raising activity beyond our community and create more awareness.

Among the charity events and activities already lined up are donations of 60 Artificial Legs, 60 Cataract Surgeries, and wheel chairs. Other activities and additional donations will depend largely on your generosity & support in buying tickets for yourselves and re-selling of tickets to others.

Namaste Philippines! Mabuhay India! (NPMI) is currently headed by Senator Leticia Ramos-Shahani as Honorary Chairperson, and Mr. Vishnu Hathiramani as Executive Chairman.

The sales and proceeds of the Raffle tickets will be managed by FICC Director / Treasurer Frankie Gangwani, with Bhagu Sitaldas and Bhagi Lalwani assisting. The Raffle committee is composed of Hiru Uttam as Chairman, Trilok Dowlani as Vice Chairman and other members.

The mechanics, rules, and regulations as well as the full list of prizes can be viewed on www.namastemabuhay.com  Tickets are available with the FICC Secretariat, the FICC Directors, as well as friends who have volunteered or been requested to sell. The Raffle draw is tentatively scheduled for Sunday August 16th from 5 pm to 7 pm with final details to be announced shortly.

If you wish to be a sponsor for our raffle draw, and provide products as additional major products (products of your company are welcome provided it has a minimum wholesale value of Pesos 6,000.00) do let us know. Your kindness will support this project and will give you advertising mileage and make the raffle more enticing.

Attached is a pledge form which we hope you will fill out and send back to the FICC Secretariat, indicating the number of tickets you wish to have. Your support and generosity shall go a long way in helping us attain our objectives and projects for a good cause.
